Privacy
What the app keeps about you, who sees it, and how to delete it. In plain words.
The short version: we keep what David needs to look after your car. Only David and the people who work with him see it. We never sell it, and there are no ad trackers.
What we keep
- Who you are: your name and phone number.
- Where the car is: the address you give, and your gate code or how to get in.
- Your car: year, make, model, color and size, if you tell us.
- Your visits: what you booked, the day, and David's notes. If David takes an after photo, that photo too.
- Messages: what you and David write to each other in the app, and any photos you send.
- Payments: the amount, the date, and how you paid. For a card, only the brand and the last 4 digits.
We do not track where you are. We only know the address you type in.
What we never see
- Your card number. Card payments happen on Square's own secure page. Square tells us the payment went through; the card number stays with Square.
- Your password. It is scrambled on your phone before anything is sent. We keep only a check that it matches, never the password itself.
Who sees it
- David and his team. They use it to plan the day, find your car, and answer your messages.
- David's customer records. Your name, phone, address, gate note, car, bookings and payments also go into the customer file on David's own computer, so everything about your car is in one place.
A few companies do the plumbing. None of them get your information to use for themselves:
- Cloudflare runs the app and stores its data. It counts page visits without cookies.
- Square takes card payments.
- Google or Apple deliver the app's notifications if you turn them on. The note is sealed, so they can't read it.
- The National Weather Service gives the rain forecast. Our server asks for the area forecast; nothing about you is sent.
Texts
David may text you about your visit: on his way, running behind, done. Your number is never sold or handed to anyone for advertising.
Deleting it
- With an account: open the app, tap Me, then My details, then Delete my account. That removes your account, cars, visits, photos, messages and bookings from the app. If you pay for the Club by card, end that first (Me, then Pay and receipts).
- Payment records stay for the books, with your name taken off.
- Without an account, or for David's own customer file: call or text David and he'll remove it.
